We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Research Analyst to join our research team. The ideal candidate will work closely with our senior analyst to support coverage across the capital structure, including equities and credit. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial modeling, research writing, and market analysis within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior analyst in conducting fundamental research across multiple sectors and asset classes
- Gather and process financial data from multiple sources to support research efforts
- Work closely with senior analyst to develop financial models and forecasts
- Contribute to the preparation of research reports, presentations, and client materials
- Participate in the monitoring of market trends, company news, and macroeconomic developments
- Maintain databases, research libraries, and other information resources to ensure accuracy and accessibility of research data
- Collaborate with sales and trading to provide research insights, answer client inquiries, and support business initiatives
- Assist in the development and production of recurring research products, including building and maintaining regular market or company monitors. These will be published on a consistent schedule and refined over time to support the firm's research brand, product identity, and client engagement
- Respond to ad hoc data and analysis requests from senior analyst and traders
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to take direction while managing multiple tasks

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Passionate about capital markets and investment research
- Relevant work experience in the financial services industry
- Active FINRA licenses, including the SIE, 7TO, 63, 86, 87 (or willing to test prior to hire)

Odeon Capital Group provides a total compensation package which may include a base salary, commissions, discretionary performance bonus, and/or a comprehensive benefits package. The estimated base salary range for this position, at the time of posting, is $70,000 to $100,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual's experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. The final base salary amount that is offered to any candidate, in any location, will be determined on several factors, which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education, and/or regulatory licenses.
