We are seeking a Multifamily Acquisitions Associate to join our dynamic acquisitions team. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in sourcing, underwriting, and executing multifamily investments across high-growth U.S. markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Deal Sourcing: Identify and evaluate multifamily acquisition opportunities in target markets through broker relationships, off-market outreach, and market research.
- Underwriting: Perform detailed financial modeling, rent roll analysis, pro forma development, and sensitivity testing to assess deal viability.
- Due Diligence: Assist in managing the due diligence process, including property inspections, lease audits, third-party reports (appraisal, environmental, PCA), and coordination with legal, property management, and asset management teams.
- Market Research: Conduct demographic, rent, and sales comps analyses to support acquisition decisions and investment theses.
- Transaction Support: Prepare investment committee memoranda and assist in contract negotiations, financing coordination (if applicable), and closing processes.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, property owners, developers, and other market participants in key regions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field (Master’s preferred but not required).
- 2–5 years of experience in multifamily acquisitions, real estate private equity, brokerage, or investment analysis.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills (Excel proficiency required).
- Deep understanding of multifamily market fundamentals, valuation, and underwriting best practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-starter with a high degree of integrity and alignment with Cove Capital’s conservative investment philosophy.
Preferred Location
While this position is remote, ideal candidates will reside in or have strong familiarity with Texas, Florida, Georgia, Virginia, North Carolina, or South Carolina, where Cove Capital is actively pursuing multifamily acquisition opportunities.
Compensation
- Competitive base salary plus performance-based bonus potential plus benefits

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
