Global Business Development is a department focused on achieving the NBA’s organizational priority of driving global fan and business growth across our family of leagues. More specifically, Global Business Development is responsible for building on the NBA’s global momentum through the development of new international leagues, world-class arena infrastructure, and arena-adjacent business opportunities.
Position Summary
The Global Business Development Analyst is a position that is responsible for helping drive the ideation, evaluation, and execution of emerging international league partnerships, arena infrastructure development, and additional arena-adjacent business opportunities (e.g., ticketing, mixed-use development). There will be a particular emphasis on executing initiatives across these areas to support the launch of the NBA’s new league in Europe, as well as discrete opportunities in other emerging global markets.
The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and collaborate cross-functionally across levels of leadership.
Major Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership. Support concept development and project/deal flow generation by combining creative thinking with a deep understanding of industry trends, relevant third-party stakeholders, and the NBA’s strategic priorities around the globe
- Project Management. Manage high-priority global projects, leading the coordination between multiple offices, groups, and executives, and providing necessary analytical support
- Business Planning & Financial Modeling. Develop robust business plans and investment cases, including financial models, due diligence reports, and other analytical and qualitative support
- Execution Focused. Support execution of strategic partnerships, including partner diligence, go‑to‑market planning, and KPI definitions
- Executive Communication. Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to a broad range of senior internal and external constituents
Required Education / Professional Experience
- BA/BS degree required
- Minimum 2-5 years of management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, and/or other comparable experience
- Preferred Qualification: professional experience in arena/stadium, ticketing, mixed-use and/or commercial real estate is a plus
- Preferred Qualification: experience working in European markets is a plus

Salary Range
$115,000 - $140,000
