The Role
Memebox is seeking a Social Media Marketing Coordinator to support the day-to-day management and execution of social media content for two of our key K-beauty brands.
This role will help bring each brand’s storytelling to life through making content, managing a content creation squad, community engagement, and trend monitoring. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about beauty and social media, with a finger on the pulse of what’s trending on TikTok and Instagram.
The Coordinator will collaborate closely with our U.S. marketing and creative teams, as well as our Korea-based counterparts, to ensure brand consistency and cross-market alignment.
Core Responsibilities
Social Media Support
- Lead scheduling, posting, and community management for Kaja and I Dew Care social channels.
- Maintain and update the social content calendar in coordination with product launches, campaigns, and retail moments and the social media lead!
- Write short-form, on-brand captions and assist in developing creative ideas for posts and stories.
- Lead all giveaways, influencer reposts, and brand partnership activations.
Content Creation & Coordination
- Support creative production by gathering UGC, influencer assets, and brand visuals.
- Partner with the Influencer Marketing team to track and repurpose influencer content across platforms.
- Assist in creating simple assets or story layouts using tools like Canva or similar.
- Help identify trends and brainstorm new content ideas relevant to K-beauty and Gen Z audiences.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track weekly social media performance (engagement, reach, follower growth) and compile recap reports.
- Monitor competitor and industry trends to share insights with the broader marketing team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with the Creative, Influencer, and Retail Marketing teams to align social priorities.
- Communicate with the Korea-based team to ensure brand messaging and visuals remain consistent across regions.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing (internships included).
- Passion for beauty, skincare, and makeup — especially K-beauty trends.
- Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms.
- Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in G-Suite, Canva, and social media scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Sprout Social, or Planoly).
- Highly collaborative with a proactive, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn.
