Description
This position directly supports our Factory of the Future line of business. This team serves as trusted advisors for manufacturing companies seeking to modernize their operations via process improvement, industrial automation, and digital factory solutions. We work with our customers to collaboratively define their automation strategy. Our workshop approach helps identify and prioritize opportunities to improve the factory floor – from work-station design to lights-out automated solutions.
Our Factory of the Future Business Development and Marketing Associate is tasked with filling the sales pipeline with funnel-building pre-sales initiatives and outbound outreach to generate strong leads -- all in support of our revenue growth strategy. You will work closely with our Factory of the Future sales team and the Marketing and Communications team to engage potential clients, qualify leads, and contribute to the overall success of the company. This team member will support the front end of the funnel by developing compelling content, managing on-going email campaigns, and then nurturing and following up on these leads with outbound outreach to deliver qualified leads to the sales team. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in customer identification, discovery process, and marketing and sales intelligence tools.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Design and implement a structured discovery process to qualify and nurture leads.
- Develop data driven strategies to target and engage high value prospects.
- Conduct market research to refine ideal customer profiles and outreach strategies.
- Create email marketing campaigns that generate interest. Drive additional marketing activities and contribute to the development of best-in-class presentations, videos, and other digital content that’s compelling to Factory of the Future consulting customers.
- Qualify all inbound and outbound leads and work closely with business development and sales engineers to proactively manage all opportunities.
- Strong understanding and adherence to sales performance metrics and KPIs.
- Manage and maintain accurate customer records in the CRM system.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be professional, proactive, and positive. Having a passion for exceptional customer service and support is a must. Being sensitive to the unpredictable demands and uncertainties associated with new business and marketing is a requisite to delivering superior results and exceeding the expectations of our internal and external customers.

- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SalesIntel, Google Analytics, and/or related software. Experience with Tableau is a plus.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s ERP, and Salesforce system
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into Invio’s sales initiatives
- Willingness to travel within North America, up to 25% of the time
EDUCATION
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Sales, Business, Marketing or related field required.
