Position Summary:
The Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager is responsible for guiding customers through the financing and protection product process when purchasing new or pre-owned powersports vehicles. This role works closely with the sales department to maximize dealership profitability while ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations. The F&I Manager provides financing options, sells extended warranties and protection plans, and delivers a professional, transparent, and customer-friendly experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Present financing, extended warranties, GAP coverage, and other protection products to customers in a clear and professional manner.
- Secure financing approvals through lender partners and match customers with the best available terms.
- Ensure all sales and finance paperwork is completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with the sales team to transition customers seamlessly from vehicle purchase to finance products.
- Track, report, and achieve monthly finance department sales goals.
- Maintain strong relationships with lenders and stay up to date with available programs.
- Ensure all product presentations are ethical, transparent, and customer-focused.
- Assist with DMV/titling paperwork as needed.
- Train and support the sales team in presenting finance product value.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in finance/insurance sales, automotive, or powersports F&I strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and compliance.
- Proficiency with dealer management systems and finance portals.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college or finance background is a plus.
Compensation:
- Base pay plus performance-based bonuses on finance reserve and product Sales
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
