Indus Capital Partners is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data & Performance Reconciliation Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in data reconciliation within a buy-side environment and possess strong technical and analytical skills. The individual will work in a collaborative environment contributing to helping build efficient workflows. This role will be based in the NY office.
Key Responsibilities
• Reconcile data between the fund administrator’s Accounting Book of Record (ABOR) and the firm’s Investment Book of Record (IBOR) using both manual and automated processes.
• Identify, research, and resolve data discrepancies across trades, positions, and valuation records.
• Generate and interpret performance and exposure reports from systems such as Bloomberg, LightKeeper, or custom in-house tools.
• Collaborate with teams across departments to ensure data accuracy and timeliness.
• Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives to strengthen data governance, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Support the transition of reconciled data into downstream systems for risk, performance, and client reporting.
• Use programming skills to automate reconciliation processes and support ad hoc analysis.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience at a buy-side firm, preferably within data operations, performance, or fund accounting.
• Strong understanding of ABOR and IBOR concepts, and familiarity with fund administrators and
custodians.
• Demonstrated proficiency with programming languages such as Python, SQL, and Excel (including data manipulation and reporting).
• Exposure to performance measurement tools and reporting platforms such as LightKeeper, Bloomberg PORT, or similar systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and maintain strong
attention to detail.
