What you will do
- Design and optimize production processes to meet safety, quality, and efficiency goals.
- Lead root cause investigations; implement corrective actions that stick.
- Support new product introductions from pilot to volume, ensuring manufacturability.
- Use CAD and simulation to validate tooling, fixtures, and line layout concepts.
- Create and maintain process controls, work standards, and documentation.
- Champion lean and Six Sigma methods to cut waste, cost, and variability.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with design, production, and quality to align plans.
Must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related engineering field.
- Ability to analyze production performance and drive improvements.
- Clear communicator and strong problem solver.
Nice to have
- Automotive manufacturing experience and familiarity with industry standards.
- Experience with CAD and process simulation.
- Lean and Six Sigma knowledge; project management skills.
- Up to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering capacity.
