Mechanical Design Engineer – Energy Manufacturing

I’m working with a global leader in the energy space that’s looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to support gas turbine assembly and manufacturing. This person will help solve day-to-day engineering challenges, improve designs, and keep production running smoothly.
What you’ll be doing:
- Support turbine assembly and troubleshoot manufacturing issues
- Work with CAD and FEA tools (like Ansys) to analyze and improve designs
- Review and update drawings to make production more efficient
- Collaborate with quality, design, and factory teams to drive improvements
- Use lean methods to reduce defects and improve productivity
What they’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering or related field
- CAD experience (NX, Creo, or SolidWorks)
- Familiarity with FEA tools (Ansys a plus)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
