We’re supporting a large-scale public sector modernization initiative focused on transforming a legacy financial and tax infrastructure system into a modern, integrated platform. The project is entering its initial requirements and planning phase, and we’re seeking a Senior Business Analyst to play a key role in shaping its success.
About the Role
You’ll collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and department leaders to define, document, and validate business requirements for a major enterprise system replacement. This is a hands-on role requiring strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder facilitation skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering and documentation sessions with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Develop comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and support RFP preparation.
- Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for modernization and efficiency.
- Support validation, testing, and implementation planning for new technology solutions.
- Bridge communication between technical teams and non-technical business users.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in business analysis within complex financial or technology modernization environments.
- Experience in public sector, taxation, revenue, or financial systems preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong background in requirements management, process mapping, and solution design.
- Excellent communication and facilitation abilities across diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Experience with system modernization (COTS implementations, ERP, or legacy replacements) a plus.
