Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements and drive the successful delivery of technology and process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document business needs and functional requirements.
- Translate requirements into clear specifications, user stories, and process flows for technical teams.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and solution architects to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Process Improvement
- Analyze existing business processes to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
- Conduct gap analyses to define current versus future state processes and recommend solutions.
Stakeholder Communication
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to gather input, clarify requirements, and ensure cross-functional alignment.
- Serve as a liaison between business units and technical teams to support project delivery.
Documentation & Reporting
- Create comprehensive documentation such as business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, process maps, and use cases.
- Develop project reports and dashboards to track progress, key milestones, and performance indicators.
Testing & Validation
- Collaborate with QA teams to validate that delivered solutions meet business and functional requirements.
- Review and support the creation of test plans and test cases.
Change Management & Support
- Assist in developing communication, training, and implementation plans to support system or process rollouts.
- Support end-users during adoption and post-implementation phases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business analysis or a similar role.
- Strong background in business process design, workflow documentation, and requirement elicitation.
- Experience with business analysis tools and templates; familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar platforms preferred.
- Knowledge of data analytics or visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
- Professional certification (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA) preferred.
- Understanding of enterprise applications and system integration concepts.
