Marketing Coordinator – The Cedars
At The Cedars, we are a non-profit senior living community committed to innovation and person-centered care. This role supports residents and their families by ensuring a smooth and positive transition into our community.
The Marketing Coordinator serves as the main contact for new residents, combining marketing skills, customer service, and project management to support the resident journey from initial inquiry through move-in.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the dedicated Move-In Coordinator for all new Independent and Assisted Living residents, managing the entire administrative and welcoming transition process.
- Act as the primary contact for new residents and their families, ensuring a smooth transition into the community.
- Oversee apartment readiness logistics and collaborate with the Environmental Services team on refurbishments.
- Provide administrative and direct support to the sales team, including assisting with sales calls and conducting community tours across all levels of care.
- Maintain and manage the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring data integrity and generating reports for sales and marketing effectiveness.
- Support digital marketing by coordinating email campaigns, updating the public website, and assisting with blog content creation.
- Manage the full life cycle of marketing collateral production, including coordinating with external designers, printers, and mail houses.
- Conduct annual market research on competitors to support sales strategy.
- Manage inventories for all sales and marketing materials.
Required Qualifications:
- 1-2 years’ marketing experience (senior living preferred).
- Strong customer service, organization, and project management skills.
- Interior Design experience, knowledge or understanding helpful
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or experience in a related field preferred
- Excellent writing and editing ability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
