The Crislu brand is known for its timeless, exquisite, bold and well-crafted jewelry. We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Assistant Jewelry Designer to support our design team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion, strong technical skills, and an eye for aesthetics, helping to bring unique jewelry pieces to life while gaining valuable industry experience in collaborative, creative environment with the opportunity to grow as the brand scales.
Role Summary
- As an Assistant Jewelry Designer, you will play a key role in the design process — from concept development through sample production. This position is ideal for someone with a strong eye for fashion trends, excellent design execution skills, and a passion for creating commercially successful jewelry. This position provides an excellent platform for aspiring jewelry designers to develop their skills while contributing meaningfully to our collections and brand vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design team in developing seasonal collections
- Create detailed sketches, CADs, mood boards, and presentation materials
- Conduct market and trend research to inspire new designs
- Assist with sourcing materials and organizing samples
- Prepare technical drawings and product specification sheets
- Communicate with vendors and production teams regarding samples and revisions
- Maintain digital and physical design archives
- Assist in creating initial jewelry designs using Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
- Develop detailed CAD models for prototypes and manufacturing processes.
- Help prepare presentation boards and visual materials for client meetings and retail displays.
- Participate in merchandising efforts by assisting with product styling and visual displays.
- Support the team in sketching, illustration, and technical drawings of jewelry designs.
- Assist in quality control and review of prototypes during various stages of development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Jewelry Design, Fashion Design, or a related field
- 1–2 years of design experience in fashion jewelry or accessories.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and basic CAD software related to jewelry or product design.
- Strong sketching and rendering skills (hand or digital)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong interest in fashion, styling, and current accessory trends
- Experience with CAD software related to jewelry or product design is preferred.
- Knowledge of product lifecycle management processes within fashion or jewelry industries.
- Understanding of graphic design principles and color theory relevant to jewelry presentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
