Job Description
Christina Kim Interior Design is seeking a Junior Designer to join our team. This role is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented designer eager to grow within a collaborative, fast-paced studio environment while gaining exposure to every stage of luxury residential projects.
Job Requirements
Responsibilities
- Support the design team through all project phases, including coordination and client communication.
- Research and source furnishings, finishes, and accessories (custom, vintage, in-stock).
- Develop floor plans, elevations, renderings, and client presentations.
- Prepare proposals, manage purchasing, and track budgets, payments, and orders in Studio Designer.
- Coordinate with vendors, fabricators, and warehouses to oversee production, deliveries, and installations.
- Assist with scheduling and installations, anticipating challenges and solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design.
- 1+ year of full-time experience in high-end residential design (not including internships).
- Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
- Professional presence in client and vendor interactions.
- Strong proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite; Studio Designer preferred.
- Knowledge of sourcing, quoting, and vendor coordination.
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently and in a small team.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, clean driving record, able to drive within Tri-State area; comfortable with travel
- Based in or able to commute daily to Manasquan, NJ (on-site role).
