Job Description
BASIC FUNCTION:
The Design Consultant - Showroom Sales - Main responsibility is to provide both customer services and suggestive selling to clientele, as well as help with the day-to-day operations of the Showroom.
Principle Responsibilities
- Offers suggestions to clients about patterns, colors, etc.
- Coordinates special products and assignments for clientele
- Requests product from inventory as necessary; Fulfills sample requests both within the Showroom and through the Web
- Generate and process reserves, sales quotes, and orders
- Organizes showroom and trimming displays as necessary
- Provide customer service to clientele, including order processing, customer follow-up, and customer inquiries.
- Support the outside salesperson with requests incurred on the road.
- All other duties as assigned by Senior Management
Job Requirements
Skills, Knowledge, And Experience
- Highly organized
- Ability to multitask
- Passion for Design and good color sense is a plus
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
- Professional presentation
- Sales experience, preferably in a showroom environment
- The ability to work in a team environment
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Applications and Excel
- Design experience is highly preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
