The Acquisitions Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the sourcing, underwriting, and closing of real estate investments. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about real estate finance. This position provides the opportunity to work closely with senior executives on all aspects of the investment lifecycle - from market research and deal analysis to due diligence and transaction execution.
-Build and maintain detailed financial models to support acquisition, development and asset management decisions.
-Prepare investment offering and presentation materials for new and existing investments.
-Assist with due diligence related to new investments including review of third-party reports, financial statements, leases and market research.
-Conduct site visits of potential acquisitions to evaluate physical condition, market positioning, and submarket dynamics.
-Assist in investor reporting, market analysis and monitoring of industry trends to guide investment strategy. This includes monitoring rental growth, supply pipelines, and demographic shifts in key submarkets.
-Assist with management of the acquisitions pipeline, including:
o Applying internal investment criteria to determine deal viability
o Interacting with brokers and current property owners to assess deal viability and upside
o Work with executives and principals to prioritize prospective acquisitions in the pipeline
