Position Summary

As an Area Sales Manager, you’ll lead business development and customer relationships across your territory, combining hands-on technical understanding with strategic sales leadership. You’ll be the face of HINE for major wind operators and service companies, helping them reduce downtime, optimize performance, and trust a partner that truly understands their world.

Key Responsibilities
· Own Your Territory: Lead business growth across Texas, Oklahoma, and Iowa, representing HINE with confidence and purpose.
· Lead Generation: Identify and engage potential customers through prospecting, networking, and company-provided leads.
· Customer Development: Build long-term partnerships with wind operators, service companies, and OEMs.
· Technical Selling: Use your field experience to translate customer challenges into HINE solutions that make a real impact.
· Sales Execution: Drive the full sales cycle — from first contact to negotiation and closure — meeting or exceeding your targets.
· Market Intelligence: Keep an active pulse on trends, competitors, and opportunities in your region.
· Collaboration: Work closely with our engineering and operations teams to ensure a seamless, high-quality customer experience.
· Brand Leadership: Represent HINE at industry events, conferences, and client meetings as a trusted expert and ambassador.
· CRM Excellence: Maintain accurate and insightful records of your pipeline, activities, and performance.
Qualifications
· Proven experience in the wind industry (e.g., field technician, site manager, or similar).
· Strong technical understanding of wind energy systems and maintenance practices.
· Sales or account management experience preferred, but a strong drive to grow and learn is essential.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
· Highly self-motivated, organized, and ambitious — you own your results.
· Experience with CRM/ERP systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, SAP, or IFS) preferred.
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
