Summary
We are seeking a talented Marketing Communications Manager with a strong background in Sales, to lead our marketing initiatives at Palmer Gas & Oil. Essential job duties and Responsibilites
- Contribute to the development of overall marketing strategies designed to generate leads and build awareness of the Palmer Gas & Oil brand
- Develops and implements marketing programs/promotions/marketing campaigns. Provides internal support and training for all marketing programs.
- Provides actionable marketing insights that contribute to business growth goals.
- Responsible for the creation and continuity of internal marketing programs.
- Generates company content for social media platforms in accordance with brand guidelines.
- Responsible for maintaining website relevancy with current business promotions/products.
- Establishes measurement infrastructure for marketing data capture and reporting, including web analytics & SEO optimization.
- Evaluates opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis.
- Negotiates with media agents/marketing firms to secure agreements for media development, purchase and placement, including brand development.
- Works with media outlets to publish timely company information, such as press releases, brochures, and other materials.
- Understands tools, technologies that are driving performance in other marketing organizations and proactively recommends adoption as appropriate.
- Oversees corporate communications activities and public relations efforts, including promoting internal and external company events.
- Plans, develops, and implements all public relations strategies and activities
- Educates internal stakeholders and new employees on brand strategy and protocols, ensuring company image and position are consistently articulated across all external communications.
- Refines core messaging to ensure organizational consistency in all aspects of communication including development, organizing and education.
- Prepares and presents periodic updates of marketing and public relations results for the management team.
- Maintains a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and makes appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them.
- Directly supervises the marketing support staff.
- Responsible for efficient communication, harmonious interaction and support of co-workers and management team members.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Experience with new media and internet advertising
- Strong Sales background
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage projects from inception through execution
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Entrepreneurial, self-starter with hands-on approach
- Proficient in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Works well independently and in a team environment
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university; five years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
