Join Our Team as an Accounts Receivable Associate!

Currently, we're on the lookout for a highly detail-oriented and self-motivated Accounts Receivable Associate to join our spectacularly talented team, recognized as the best in the world at what they do!

The AR Associate will have a professional and friendly demeanor making them perfect to reach out to clients and our internal staff for invoice processing, data reconciliation, and collections as part of this full-cycle AR position. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction, fabrication or similar environment.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Process project billings timely and accurately, including monthly AIA requisitions and compliance reporting in accordance with contract terms
- Review Schedule of Contracts for billing opportunities
- Communicate and coordinate with project managers and clients to resolve billing discrepancies
- Apply daily cash receipts to customer accounts and resolve cash application discrepancies
- Monitor receivables and communicate payment issues to project and upper management
- Reconcile AR to the GL
- Prepare monthly AR borrowing base bank compliance reporting
- Prepare monthly AR sales journal reporting to support sales and use tax filing accounting
- Support Assistant Controller on various AR reporting for financial closings and audits
- Foster strong relationships with both external and internal clients
- Prepare other AR related duties and reporting as needed
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 3-4 years’ experience in AR
- Degree or certificate in Accounting, Finance, or similar a plus
- Construction AIA billing and related compliance reporting a plus
- Construction industry software portal experience like Textura, Procure, GC Pay, etc. a plus
- Microsoft Excel experience
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Ability to adapt to custom ERP accounting and job costing software
- Ability to adapt to different billing formats
- Effective communicator with a sensitivity to maintaining positive client relationships
- Excellent sense of humor and ability to get along with all personalities
