Social Media Marketing & Graphic Design Assistant (Full-Time — Part-Time Ramp Period)

Compensation: $38,000–$50,000/year equivalent
Ramp Period: This position may begin part-time (10–20 hours/week at $18–$22/hour) and transition into full-time hours and full-time compensation as new clients are onboarded.

Role Description
We are hiring a full-time Social Media Marketing & Graphic Design Assistant, with the position likely beginning part-time during the initial onboarding period. As the agency continues to grow, the role will transition into full-time hours and responsibilities.
The ideal candidate is creative, organized, detail-oriented, and excited to contribute to a wide range of client accounts. While New York–based candidates are preferred due to the occasional need for on-site content shoots, remote applicants are encouraged to apply.
Candidates who are graduating soon and able to begin part-time before transitioning to full-time are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing social media strategies and content calendars
- Create and curate social content, including posts, Reels, TikToks, and short-form videos
- Design branded graphics using Canva or similar tools
- Support editing of short-form video content
- Conduct trend, competitor, and influencer research
- Assist with Meta Ads campaigns and performance tracking
- Monitor social media engagement and provide community management support
- Help with PR, branding, and creative strategy initiatives
- Maintain organized digital assets and ensure brand consistency across platforms
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms and digital content trends
- Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Canva; basic video editing experience preferred
- Creative eye with strong attention to detail and visual design
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Interest in marketing, branding, and content creation
- Bonus: Experience with Meta Ads Manager, influencer outreach, analytics, or hospitality/luxury brands
