Warehouse & Logistics Program Lead | Allied Resources Technical Consultants
About the Position:
Allied Resources is seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Program Lead supporting a major SAP transformation program with a leading energy & utilities organization in Newark, DE. This role is hybrid, with travel to the Newark office typically two weeks per month (company-covered travel & hotel if outside commuting distance).
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary Warehouse & Logistics program lead for SAP WM/EWM/IM implementation and optimization efforts.
- Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP-driven warehouse workflows and inventory processes.
- Develop standardized processes for inbound/outbound operations, put-away, picking strategies, replenishment, cycle counting, and inventory reconciliation.
- Conduct warehouse performance assessments and identify operational improvement opportunities.
- Design warehouse layouts, flow paths, slotting strategies, and workforce utilization plans to improve efficiency.
- Support SAP S/4HANA migration initiatives, including system testing, user training, and change management.
- Implement KPIs, dashboards, productivity metrics, and warehouse reporting for ongoing performance improvement.
- Guide warehouse leadership teams through transformation initiatives, process redesign, technology integration, Lean/5S adoption, and safety program enhancement.
- Develop SOPs, training documentation, visual management tools, and continuous improvement playbooks.
- Act as a strategic advisor to operations leadership and workstream stakeholders throughout the program.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field required (Master’s preferred).
- 10–15+ years of warehouse or distribution operations management experience.
- 7+ years of hands-on SAP WM/EWM/IM configuration and implementation experience.
- 5+ years in a consulting, advisory, or lead transformation role.
- Must hold at least TWO of the following certifications: CPIM, CSCP, CLTD, CTSC, CLSSBB, CSCMP, or PMP.
- SAP Warehouse Certification required (EWM, S/4HANA WM, or equivalent).
- Must have experience working directly in warehouse operations (hands-on environment).
- Demonstrated success driving warehouse modernization initiatives such as automation, WMS enhancements, or process re-engineering.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder leadership skills.
- Must reside in DE, MD, PA, NC, NJ, VA, TX, FL, IL, or OH, hold a valid driver's license, and be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
