Alexander Technology Group is seeking a Controls Engineer to join a growing engineering team supporting automation and control systems for industrial products used in the agriculture industry. This is a hands-on role based onsite in Milwaukee, where you’ll contribute to the programming, testing, and support of PLC and HMI systems.
Responsibilities
- Assist in programming, configuring, and troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLCs.
- Support development and integration of Wonderware HMI/SCADA applications.
- Work closely with senior engineers on automation projects, from design through implementation.
- Provide onsite technical support for control systems during installation, testing, and production.
- Assist in system documentation, wiring diagrams, and maintenance procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and efficient system performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLCs and Rockwell Automation software.
- Exposure to Wonderware or similar HMI/SCADA platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Milwaukee, WI, Monday through Friday.
- Interest in industrial automation and applications within the agriculture industry.
Nice To Have
- Knowledge of industrial networking and control panel wiring.
- Hands-on experience with testing and commissioning systems.
