The Role
We have a fantastic product, great traction and 300+ customers globally. We are now looking for a motivated and ambitious Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Raleigh office.
This is an entry-level opportunity designed to accelerate our North American expansion by generating qualified leads, testing new markets, and building pipeline for our Account Executives (AEs) by providing a steady stream of opportunities. You’ll be the first point of contact for many of our future customers - helping introduce them to the power of Bodyswaps.
You’ll work closely with our Sales and Marketing teams to refine our outbound strategy and play a key role in shaping how we scale our presence across education, healthcare, and enterprise markets.
Responsibilities include:
- Prospect and engage potential customers through multiple channels including calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach (outbound)
- Research, identify, and qualify new leads in key sectors (higher education, nursing schools, healthcare systems, business schools, etc) and uncover new markets through outbound experimentation.
- Book qualified meetings for AEs by generating interest and uncovering customer pain points
- Collaborate with AEs to develop account strategies and ensure seamless handoffs.
- Record and maintain detailed notes in CRM; analyze and optimize campaign effectiveness
- Provide regular feedback to marketing and leadership on trends, challenges, and opportunities
- Experiment with new outreach approaches to test market resonance and uncover new revenue opportunities
Requirements:
Must-haves include:
- Maintain a self-starter attitude & ‘always be learning’ approach
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Drive to succeed in sales and learn the SaaS sales cycle
- Confidence to make outbound calls, adopt a growth mindset and handle objections effectively
- Passionate about exploring new technologies and be at the forefront of emerging tech trends (VR, AI, XR)
- Proven ability to stay organized and manage multiple work streams
- Awareness of sales tools or willingness to learn how to use new platforms effectively (such as HubSpot and ZoomInfo)
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, startup environment
