Job Summary:
As a Regulatory Transformation Consultant at Suave Brands Co. (SBC), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of regulatory compliance and fostering a culture of regulatory excellence. Your primary responsibilities include transition of newly acquired products into SBC Regulatory processes, including but not limited to MoCRA, OTC drug product registrations, SB 312 reporting, regulatory documentation support, IL (Ingredient list) and label reviews.
You will also support overall regulatory activities as needed.
NOTE: This is a 12-month contract (1099) position during this critical transition period.
Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory Support
- MoCRA reporting, tracking and maintenance.
- NDC (national drug code directory) submissions for OTC products.
- SB 312 reporting, tracking and maintenance.
- Ingredient list review.
- Label copy review.
- Stay up to date with regulatory changes and requirements, ensuring that SBC's processes and procedures are aligned.
- Support with the implementation of requirements from new or changed Global, Federal and State regulations.
- Provide general regulatory support for investigations and projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Life Sciences, Chemistry, or a related discipline).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a regulatory or regulatory labeling role within the personal care or consumer goods industry.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for cosmetics and OTC drug products, including FDA and MoCRA regulations.
- Knowledge of Ingredient Lists (ILs) creation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct root cause analysis effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Experience with complaint management and corrective actions implementation.
