About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Metallurgist with experience in mineral processing or hydrometallurgical/pyrometallurgical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support metallurgical research and process-improvement initiatives
- Manage sampling programs, evaluate data, and recommend operational improvements
- Communicate process updates and technical information to team members and stakeholders
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff
- Work with external partners to assess new equipment, materials, and technologies
- Provide technical guidance to operations across the organization
- Ensure all work aligns with safety standards and environmental/health policies
Ideal Candidate Profile
- At least 2 years of experience in metallurgy, preferably in mineral processing or hydro/pyrometallurgical operations
- Experience mentoring or training technical personnel
- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering or a related field
