JOB SUMMARY : Provide detailed drawings of architectural designs according to specifications provided by Director of design/Lead designer.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Consult with clients to determine functional requirement of structure.
- Create accurate and scaled drawings for construction and estimating.
- Project coordination at times.
- Resolve architectural and design discrepancies.
- Performs other duties as necessary or as requested by management.
COMPETENCIES:
- Strong construction background with extensive product knowledge.
- Revit, Microsoft Office.
- Must be able to drive to customer’s location at times.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to foresee problems and advise.
- Strong customer service experience requiring negotiation skills.
- Ability to multi-task and coordinate with contractors and customers.
- Knowledge of local building codes and ordinances.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Minimum education- Associates degree in Interior design, Architecture, or related field.
- Use of calculators, scales, computers, printers, copiers, fax, digital cameras, phone systems and credit machines.
- Strong Revit skills
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 1 year design experience or equivalent education.
