We’re hiring a Product Marketing Manager to help build the next generation of dermatologist-created skincare. This role sits at the intersection of product, brand, and growth: you’ll translate clinical formulas into clear, compelling stories, build 360° go-to-market plans, and ensure every launch is understood, loved, and adopted by our customers.

What We’re Looking For
A beauty- and skincare-obsessed marketer who can:
- Turn complex formulas and derm language into simple, “say what they do” product stories
- Own product positioning, messaging, and claims from concept through launch
- Build and execute 360° launch strategies across DTC, TikTok Shop, Amazon, retail, and influencers
- Collaborate cross-functionally to keep everyone rowing toward the same launch narrative
What You’ll Own
Product Storytelling & Positioning
- Own the positioning, value prop, and messaging hierarchy for new and existing products.
- Translate clinical/derm language into consumer-friendly copy across PDPs, packaging, site, email, and social.
- Build messaging frameworks: key benefits, RTBs, hero ingredients, FAQs, and objection-handling.
- Partner with regulatory/claims and R&D to ensure all product messaging is accurate, compliant, and compelling.
Go-to-Market & 360 Launch Strategy
- Develop 360 launch plans for new products and key campaigns, including DTC, TikTok Shop, Amazon, paid social, email/SMS, affiliates, and retail.
- Own the GTM brief: objectives, target consumer, insights, messaging, hooks, hero assets, and channel-by-channel role.
- Create launch toolkits (messaging docs, FAQs, training guides, one-pagers) for internal teams, customer service, and external partners.
- Partner with social, creative, and media teams to ensure launch stories are consistent yet tailored to each platform.
Cross-Functional Alignment
- Act as the connective tissue between Product Development, Dr. Shah, Marketing, Ecomm, and Ops.
- Join product development conversations to shape positioning and RTBs early in the process.
- Lead cross-functional launch checkpoints to align timelines, messaging, hero claims, and key assets.
- Support sales and retail teams with sell-in decks, talking points, and education materials for key partners.
Insights, Research & Optimization
- Conduct competitive and category audits to understand whitespace, claims, and messaging trends.
- Leverage customer feedback, reviews, social listening, and performance data to refine positioning and copy.
- Partner with growth/ecomm to A/B test messaging, headlines, and value props on PDPs, landing pages, and ads.
- Synthesize learnings after each launch into playbooks and recommendations for future products.
Copy & Asset Strategy
- Write or oversee copy for product-focused channels: PDPs, packaging, launch emails, landing pages, and retail assets.
- Brief creative and content teams on what each asset needs to say and achieve (not just how it looks).
- Ensure every touchpoint — from TikTok LIVE title to shelf tag — reinforces the same clear story.
About You
- 2+ years of experience in product marketing, brand marketing, or similar role at a beauty, skincare, or consumer brand (skincare strongly preferred).
- Proven track record supporting or leading 360 product launches (DTC + at least one of: Amazon, TikTok Shop, retail, or wholesale).
- Strong copywriting chops — especially for PDPs, emails, packaging, and consumer education.
- Comfortable moving between strategy and execution: you can write the brief and also jump into the doc or deck to get it over the finish line.
- Deep curiosity about ingredients, formulas, and the “why” behind skincare — you enjoy talking to derms, chemists, and customers.
- Data-aware: you don’t need to be a performance marketer, but you’re comfortable looking at basic metrics to inform messaging and optimization.
- Highly organized with strong project management skills; able to juggle multiple launches and deadlines.
- Collaborative, low-ego, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience at a high-growth, digital-first beauty or skincare brand.
- Familiarity with TikTok Shop, social commerce, and/or affiliate-driven launches.
- Experience working with dermatologists, medical experts, or clinical claims.
- Exposure to consumer research (surveys, focus groups, UGC/review mining).

Compensation: $90k - 120k base, bonus potential, 401k, health plan
