About the Center of Family Love
Center of Family Love (CFL) in Okarche, OK is a faith-based, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides residential and employment programs for adults with intellectual disabilities by cultivating their interests, skills and independence to live creative, productive and joyous lives. We are located 30 minutes west of north Oklahoma City.
Job Summary:
Reporting to the VP of Business Development, the Manager of Business Development is responsible for operations management of vocational businesses for developmentally disabled adults. This includes providing marketing, sales, budgeting, inventory, time studies, staff training, supply management, and oversight of retail operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee management of State Use contracts and ensure orders are fulfilled by designated timeline for Filter Center
- Responsible for various mandatory reports including quarterly state use report, Supra/man hour reports and monthly manager report
- Work with VP of Business Development to renew Department of Labor Subminimum Wage Certificate every two years
- Maintain and oversee the contracts with Nortek, OEMA, & ATC leadership along with CFL related businesses, while also assisting Director of Horticulture & Floral with procedures and sales as needed so that we stay in compliance with State Use Rules and Regulations
- Complete a Fair Market Analysis Iteratively
- Review and approve semi-annual time studies completed at work sites and prevailing wage requirements
- Liaison for CLF with state agencies concerning sales opportunities and legislation in conjunction with VP of Business Development
- Responsible for inventories and other paperwork being turned into accounting by deadline
- Monitor the completion of the classes/trainings for vocational staff
- Complete an annual DDSD survey
- Attend IP meetings for vocational clients, when required in absence of VPC
- Inspect/visit work sites at least once monthly
- Complete 20 hours of annual training
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in business or equivalent years of business experience required.
- Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities highly preferred
- Demonstrable sales experience highly preferred
