Job Summary
We are growing and are seeking a motivated and experienced Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager to join our successful automotive team. The F&I Manager plays a vital dual role: working with customers to secure financing for their vehicle purchases and presenting valuable aftermarket products and insurance options to protect their investment. This role requires a high degree of integrity, a strong understanding of financial regulations, and excellent communication skills to ensure high customer satisfaction and dealership profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Finance: Work directly with customers to explain financing options, process credit applications, and finalize transactions efficiently.
- Lender Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with lending institutions and insurance vendors to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs for customers.
- Product Sales: Present and sell extended warranties, service contracts, GAP insurance, and other protection products to enhance the customer's ownership experience.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in automotive sales or a related management position within a dealership.
- Skills:
- Negotiation, presentation, and sales closing skills.
- Written and verbal communication skills to explain information clearly to customers and staff.
- Organized and detail-oriented with an ability to manage a high-volume workload.
- High ethical standards and a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Must acquire and maintain current state insurance licenses as required by law.
