Job Description
The Global Commercial Finance Leader is responsible for building, scaling, and leading a world-class Commercial Finance capability across all markets and lines of business (LOBs). This role serves as a strategic partner to Commercial, Pricing, and Market leadership, providing insights, standards, and financial rigor to support profitable growth and informed decision-making. The leader will oversee global commercial planning, forecasting, and analysis while ensuring consistency and quality of commercial metrics worldwide.
This role requires a global mindset, strong leadership presence, and deep experience in revenue analytics, margin optimization, pricing, and commercial performance management.
1. Build and Strengthen the Global Commercial Finance Capability
Ensure consistency, quality, and comparability of commercial metrics across markets (e.g., price vs. volume, mix impact, margin drivers).
2. Lead Insight Generation, Analysis, and Benchmarking
Conduct detailed margin analysis by product line, customer segment, and region to identify cost savings, pricing opportunities, and margin expansion strategies.
3. Drive Topline Understanding & Performance
Monitor and analyze key sales performance metrics (revenue, growth rates, market share, customer acquisition/retention, etc.).
4. Lead Global Topline and Commercial Planning
Orchestrate the development of annual revenue plans, budgets, and rolling forecasts for the Global Commercial Organization (DRS, AMS, BGS).
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
12–15+ years of progressive experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A, Pricing, or related financial leadership roles.
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with experience in pricing, margin analytics, and revenue forecasting.
