Carpenter — Precision Design & Build
At Precision Design & Build, our goal is to deliver high-end home remodels with no stress, no mess, and no surprises. As a Carpenter, you help bring that promise to life inside the client’s home. You take the approved plans from the Project Manager and build exactly what was planned, with clean, careful, and professional work at all times.
What You Do
- Build and install minor framing, trim, cabinets, and finish work exactly as planned
- Follow direction only from the Project Manager- you do not discuss the job with the client
- Protect the home like it’s your own: floors, walls, and anything that belongs to the homeowner must stay perfect
- Keep the jobsite clean and organized every single day
- Speak up early to the PM if something is missing, wrong, or may cause a delay
- Show up early, ready, and focused- work as a respectful teammate with zero drama
What Success Looks Like
- You are able and comfortable moving projects forward while Project Manager is away
- You are able and comfortable to lead an apprentice when necessary
- Work is finished on time, to the plan, with no rework needed
- Jobsite is cleaner at the end of the day than when you arrived
- Nothing in the client’s home is ever damaged
- The Project Manager does not need to step in and fix anything
- Problems are reported early, never last minute
- The client never feels worried or stressed because of field work
- You make Precision look professional and trusted in everything you do

- Need to be micromanaged or reminded to stay on task
- Get defensive when corrected or take feedback personally
- Complain, create drama, or bring ego to the jobsite
- Are uncomfortable working in luxury homes where perfection is expected
- Want to “wing it” instead of following detailed plans and systems
- Speak directly to clients about scope, pricing, or schedule instead of going through the PM
