Position Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering Department. This exempt position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects across various electrical systems and product designs. The ideal candidate will apply electrical engineering principles to research, design, and analyze a variety of electronic/electrical systems, including but not limited to servo control, radio communication, digital signal processing, timing, high-speed/resolution video, and Time-Space-Position-Information (TSPI).
The ideal candidate will direct and coordinate fabrication, operation, installation, integration and repair of electronic / electrical systems. Researches, analyzes and evaluates customer / supplier / vendor products, designs, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application. In this role you will be responsible for the design and implementation of advanced instrumentation systems while providing technical assistance to planning, operation and maintenance activities by recommending solutions to diverse and complex problems. Explains complex concepts and ideas orally and through reports and presentations to technicians, engineering peers, management and customers. Responsibilities also include researching, designing, developing, estimating, scheduling, testing, troubleshooting, and integrating electrical components to meet the technical requirements of diverse engineering projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Technical Skills: Strong interest and aptitude for designing, analyzing, building, and troubleshooting both analog and digital circuits.
- Problem-Solving: Passion for working in dynamic and challenging environments (both indoors and outdoors) with a proven ability to solve problems in real-world situations.
- Communication: Excellent communication and writing skills to effectively present technical information.
- Driver's License: A valid driver’s license is required.
- Security Clearance: Applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Clearance Requirement: Successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain a security clearance as a condition of employment.
Highly Desired Qualifications:
- Experience: At least two years of experience in designing, analyzing, building, and troubleshooting both analog and digital circuits.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with electro-mechanical systems is preferred.
- Security Clearance: An active DoD Secret Clearance is not mandatory at the time of hire but is strongly desired.
- Project Management: Experience with project management and a solid understanding of Systems Engineering best practices is a valuable asset.
- Licensure: Professional licensure in the Principles and Practice of Engineering Examination (PE) for Electrical and Computer Engineering, specializing in Power, is strongly preferred.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
