Marketing Assistant
Location: Glens Falls, NY
Pay: $22–$23 per hour (entry-level) + Bonus Opportunity ($4,000–$5,000 annually TBD)

About the Role
Flomatic Valves is seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. You’ll play a key role in supporting marketing operations, trade show logistics, and digital presence while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage trade show registrations, scheduling, and shipments of booths and marketing materials.
- Coordinate logistics with internal teams to ensure successful participation. (Note: This role does not attend shows at this time.)
Association Memberships & Renewals:
- Maintain memberships and ensure timely contract renewals.
- Serve as liaison for association inquiries.
Event Coordination:
- Assist with planning internal meetings, training sessions, and company events.
- Support external events such as customer seminars.
Marketing Materials & Inventory:
- Coordinate delivery of promotional items, samples, and literature.
- Manage SWAG and giveaways, track inventory, and ensure timely distribution.
Digital & Creative Support:
- Update Flomatic’s website, social media accounts, and third-party listings.
- Track online RFQ activity and distribute leads internally.
- Assist with design/editing of brochures, flyers, ads, and social media posts following brand guidelines.
Research & Database Management:
- Conduct preliminary research on competitors and industry trends.
- Maintain and update customer contact database for targeted campaigns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, basic HTML, Google Analytics, and Google Ads is highly desired.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- ability to lift 40lbs and work on your feet from time to time.
