Job Summary
We are a growing, entrepreneurial organization based in the Tri-State area that builds, operates, and scales multiple business units across the Northern America. We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) or Senior Finance Leader to provide strategic financial leadership and operational oversight in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
This is a high-impact executive role for a finance professional who thrives in growth-oriented, multi-entity organizations and enjoys partnering closely with leadership to drive performance and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide senior leadership and strategic direction for all financial and operational matters
- Oversee financial management including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process; monitor and report on performance against targets
- Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Conduct regular financial reviews to identify risks, trends, efficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities
- Partner with operational leaders to align financial strategy with overall business objectives
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws
- Provide oversight and guidance on tax accounting, planning, and compliance
- Oversee accounting operations, payroll processes, and financial reporting
- Manage relationships with external partners including accounting firms, auditors, lenders, and banks
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in a senior finance role (CFO, VP of Finance, Director of Finance, or similar)
- Strong background in corporate finance, financial analysis, and strategic planning
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and reporting requirements
- Experience overseeing accounting functions and payroll operations
- Familiarity with International Accounting Standards (IAS) is preferred
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to lead, mentor, and influence teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
