Sr. SAP Application Programmer/Analyst

Responsible for providing SAP application program development for the University of Nebraska and the Nebraska State Colleges and is part of the Nebraska Business Information System technical team. Design, develop, test and modify application programs and solutions, including both front-end and back-end applications to meet business community needs across multiple functional business subject areas. Interact with system users, and internal staff to set priorities, schedule tasks, resolve problems, arrange training, and provide documentation and status reports as needed.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer and Information Systems, Engineering in Computer Science or related, plus 60 months experience working with computer application planning/design, software analysis/development and system/ program management is required. Demonstrated ability to support SAP ABAP, SAP portal system, UI5, SAP business warehouse, business objects, data modeling SAP data dictionary objects and structures. Must have knowledge of database concepts and dimensional modeling. Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communications skills with attention to detail and the ability to express technical information to technical and non-technical user groups in addition to making clear and convincing oral presentations.
Must be present in Lincoln, Nebraska Monday-Friday. 7:30am-4:30pm.
