Job Opening: Interior Design Studio Projects Coordinator
SKILLS REQUIRED
Must be able to work in person 30-40 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
Bachelor’s degree
Degree in business, marketing or communication field is beneficial
Must have had some college courses related to business, accounting and/or finance
Must be good with numbers and able to check your work for accuracy
Must be extremely organized
Willingness to learn and have the ability to work in our design firm project software to bill clients
Willingness to learn Canva basics to assist in prepping Concept boards with product details
Must possess excellent communication skills (verbal, written and face-to-face) with vendors and clients
Detail-oriented in every aspect of the job, so others can follow behind your part of the project
Ability to multi-task (we switch between projects all day)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Must have problem-solving skills
Must be self-motivated to work independently
Must be able to lift small freight and rolls of fabric to relocate for client projects
Must be professional and polished in all aspects of the job
Must adhere to our professional dress code

Willingness to protect client privacy in all aspects of the design project
Willingness to adhere to all the guidelines and codes we fall under being a Louisiana Licensed Interior Design firm
JOB DESCRIPTION
Job tasks will include the following:
· Price furniture and accessories. This includes researching options available for each piece.
· Check availability of furniture, fabrics, wallpaper, etc. and order samples of each
· Enter client products details into the design software to order
· Create and send client invoices and record payments in Studio Software
· Keep track of all orders and orders to place
· Coordinate and follow up with the designers on all aspects of the order throughout the project
· Check for acknowledgements and on-order status for items daily
· Receive freight deliveries, check these against orders, and label for design projects
· Schedule freight pickups, installation and deliveries of design items to client job sites
· Assist with email communication between job subs and vendors on all design projects
· Schedule and assist in prepping for client meetings
· Clip product photos to load into Dropbox client folders throughout the project
· Drop off/pick up samples to/from local vendors as needed.
· Create straight-forward instructions for installers and subcontractors for various parts of design projects
· Communicate with vendors on a daily basis about project details and orders
· Problem solving on issues that arrive with products or with vendors
· Oversee the entire return process for damages
· Other tasks to assist the designers as they are needed or as they arrive
Pay will be based on education and skill level
Vacation and PTO are provided
