Atlanta Consulting Group (“ACG”) is an independent, employee-owned boutique consulting firm that provides comprehensive investment advice to family office/high net worth and institutional clients such as corporate retirement plans (Defined Benefit & Defined Contribution), endowments, foundations, hospital systems, and Taft-Hartley clients. We are looking to add a motivated and driven individual, who is interested in learning about investment consulting, to be part of our growing team.
The Investment Analyst is an essential role within ACG supporting the specific goals and needs of our institutional client base. The Investment Analyst will work on the research team to assist the investment consultants in the preparation of ad hoc deliverables to be included in quarterly client reports. This is a full time position to be based in either of our two main offices located in Atlanta, GA or Lexington, KY.
Responsibilities
• Assist research team to perform ongoing due diligence and investment manager searches across traditional and alternative asset classes
• Performance monitoring and analysis of investment strategies
• Asset Allocation modeling and Asset/Liability studies
• Developing client Investment Policy Statements
• Researching and preparing client education presentations
• Retirement Income Planning analysis
• Tax mitigation and tax efficiency analysis
• Estate and wealth transfer analysis
• Life Insurance and lending strategy analysis
• Assisting in the completion of new business RFPs
Experience
• 2-8 years of experience in financial services
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field is preferred
• Current understanding (or proven desire to learn) of capital markets, economics, portfolio construction, statistical concepts, and investments

• Experience with investment manager databases
• Completion of or progress towards CFA, CFP or CAIA is a plus but not required
