Job Overview
Seek an outgoing personality to join a successful team in place at a busy RI based creative house which designs and services major retail chains. Need an innovative Jewelry Designer to bring unique visions to life. In this role, you will blend artistic flair with technical expertise to craft jewelry pieces via CAD and/or hand manipulations . Your creativity will drive the development of new collections, ensuring each design aligns with current trends and/or brand identity. This is a junior level opportunity for a fairly new and motivated designer to make a mark in the fashion and jewelry industry, working in a fun team environment that celebrates creativity.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product development & sales teams
- Conduct research on current fashion trends, color theory, and market preferences to develop innovative design ideas.
- Prepare technical specifications, detailed drawings, and/or hand manipulated prototypes for retail chain store customers
- Coordinate with merchandising teams to ensure designs meet retail standards and appeal to target audiences in fashion retail environments.
Experience
- Some experience in jewelry design or related fashion accessory fields, with a portfolio showcasing creative work, even if only from school
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite programs including Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for digital illustration and presentation, or precise hand design manipulations.
- Familiarity with fashion styling, graphic design principles, and/or color theory to create visually compelling collections.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
