This is an Administrative Support position for the Financial Planning department, which provides essential support to the Planning Department by handling key administrative functions and assisting Financial Planners and Advisors, as needed.
This position requires that data is entered accurately, material is prepared correctly, and administrative workflows run smoothly. Thia requires strong attention to detail, comfort with repetitive tasks, and the ability to support both new business and existing client processes.
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility is preparing new-business assessments and review-meeting packets for advisor meetings, ensuring all materials are compiled accurately and free of errors.
Additional responsibilities may include:
- Support new business assessments (approximately 80–120 per week) and prepare investment overviews
- Support existing business by creating review-meeting packets (approximately 350–500 per week)
- Handle data entry
- Scan, organize, and maintain client documents
- Bridge administrative tasks with planner-facing support to keep workflows running smoothly
- Support the planning team with new business preparation and related tasks
- Generate final plans for client presentation and implementation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or similar field. Additional certifications and/or education a plus.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong attention to detail - must be detail-oriented to ensure accuracy.
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- CFP® designation is not required; however, obtaining this designation will be required within 18 months of a promotion or move into another position within the Planning department.
- 1 year of industry-related experience (or Financial Services coursework).
- Experience utilizing software applications such as eMoney and Salesforce CRM
- Knowledge of financial planning concepts and strategies, including retirement planning, cash flow, risk management, estate planning, investments, and tax planning.
