Responsibilities:
- Design and customize products to meet client specifications.
- Create detailed CAD drawings for approvals and fabrication.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective.
- Communicate design proposals clearly with clients to secure approvals.
- Recommend improvements to enhance performance, reduce costs, and streamline production.
- Prepare shipping, installation, and maintenance documentation.
- Identify and implement workflow and process improvements.
- Assist in developing reference materials such as installation guides, manuals, and work instructions.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Mechanical/Architectural Drafting, Industrial Technology, Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in CAD software with strong technical drawing skills.
- Knowledge of design and drafting principles.
- Creative problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to changes, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
- Understanding of metal fabrication processes.
- Extensive experience with ERP systems and workflows.
