Our brand blends tourism, hospitality, and community, and we’re looking for a creative, reliable marketer to help communicate who we are and what we offer.
Position Overview:
The Marketing & Content Coordinator is a part-time, hands-on role responsible for creating and managing marketing content across our multiple business lines. This position focuses on communication, content creation, and execution rather than high-level corporate strategy.
This role is ideal for someone who has real-world marketing experience, communicates clearly, and enjoys working with a small team in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Communication & Content
- Create and manage social media content (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
- Write clear, engaging copy for posts, promotions, events, and website updates
- Capture photo and video content on-site (tours, marina, bar, events, live music)
- Maintain a consistent brand voice across all businesses
Website & Online Presence
- Update and maintain website content (accuaracy, specials, events, seasonal messaging etc)
- Help ensure accuracy across Google listings, TripAdvisor, Yelp, and other platforms
- Assist with basic SEO and content organization
Advertising & Local Promotion
- Coordinate print materials (flyers, rack cards, posters, local ads)
- Support promotions for live music, special events, and seasonal offerings
- Assist with local and guerrilla marketing efforts (hotel outreach, partnerships, signage, community promotion)
General Marketing Support
- Communicate and collaborate closely with ownership & management
- Track basic engagement metrics and feedback
- Provide ideas to improve visibility and bookings
Qualifications
- Proven experience in marketing, content creation, or social media (portfolio, examples, or references preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable creating photo/video content using a smartphone or camera
- Experience updating websites or online listings (WordPress or similar preferred)
- Organized, dependable, and able to work independently
- Familiarity with the Panama City Beach area and tourism market is a plus
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-time position: 3–4 days per week
- Flexible scheduling with some availability for events or live music nights
- Weekly pay competitive with Panama City Beach market, based on experience
