Martin Wealth Solutions is a Registered Investment Advisory Firm (RIA) serving families across the New River Valley and Roanoke. We believe retirement planning should be clear, simple, and stress-free. We are looking for a client-facing, sales & service-minded Associate Advisor to join our Christiansburg team.
The Role
This is a high-activity, professional role for someone who loves being in front of people. You won't just be "doing the math" in the back office; you will be the lead advocate for our Medicare and Insurance division.
Your goal is to proactively guide clients through the Medicare transition and identify insurance solutions that protect their retirement. While you will be supported by our Senior Advisors and the SmartWealth System™, you will be expected to drive the Medicare planning process and manage the client relationship from start to finish.
This position is based in Christiansburg and requires travel to our Roanoke office 1–2 times per week.
The Value You Deliver
- Drive Medicare Growth: Serve as the primary advisor for our "Medicare Journey." You will meet with clients, identify their healthcare needs, and guide them to the right solutions.
- Proactive Risk Management: Confidently present insurance solutions (Life, Long-Term Care, and Health) as vital components of a client’s Security pillar.
- Client-Facing Financial Planning: Assist in presenting custom financial plans. You should be comfortable leading portions of client meetings and addressing questions on the fly.
- Relationship Development: Actively follow up with prospects and existing clients to ensure their plans are fully implemented and their protection is up to date.
- Momentum: Work with the team to identify new opportunities within our existing database to provide better coverage and planning for the families we serve.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Required).
- Licensing: Must currently hold either a Securities license (Series 65 or 66) or a Life & Health Insurance license. You must be willing to obtain the second license within 90 days of hire.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in a sales or client-facing role. Financial services or insurance experience is preferred, but we value a proven track record of "winning" in professional environments.
- Location: Must be able to work from the Christiansburg office and travel to Roanoke weekly.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
