BIICS, Inc is looking to fill a Sr. Business Process Consultant (Finance Systems) position. The position is located in Ocoee, Florida and work is onsite.
Responsibilities:
Financial Systems & Process Leadership
o Lead end-to-end business process analysis and redesign for financial system implementations, upgrades, and optimizations.
o Translate accounting and finance requirements into clear, actionable system and process specifications.
o Ensure financial systems support GAAP, regulatory, audit, and internal control requirements.
o Provide subject matter expertise on accounting workflows, financial controls, and data integrity throughout system implementation.
Business Process Engineering
o Document current-state financial processes and systems, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and design future-state solutions.
o Develop and implement standardized, scalable financial processes aligned with enterprise strategy.
o Define process performance metrics and reporting to measure effectiveness post-implementation.
o Plan and support transition activities, including knowledge transfer, process
change management and user adoption.
Project & Stakeholder Management
o Serve as a lead or senior contributor on large, complex, enterprise-wide financial system projects.
o Partner with Finance leadership, Accounting, IT, external vendors, and auditors to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
o Support project planning, prioritization, risk management, and issue resolution.
o Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and project team members.
Strategic Advisory & Continuous Improvement
o Advise leadership on future-state financial systems, emerging technologies, and process improvement opportunities.
o Participate in continuous review of financial processes to ensure alignment with evolving business needs and regulatory changes.
o Contribute to financial process engineering roadmaps and integration with corporate strategic plans.
Potential candidate must possess the following:
- 8-10 years of progressive experience in system integrations.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial systems and accounting principles.
- Familiarity with GAAP and compliance.
- Proven experience with ERP systems.
- Proficiency in using Excel for data entry, analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical skills, with a track record of using data analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing detailed reports and presenting to technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadership.
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Preferred:
- Certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) are highly preferred.
