Front End Developer
Onsite – Greater Los Angeles, CA
Overview
TalentoHC has partnered with a entertainment company to find a Front-End Developer (React / Next.js) to build engaging, high-performance digital experiences. This role will collaborate closely with IT, marketing, sales, product, and design teams to deliver scalable and accessible web applications that align with business and customer experience goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces using React.js and Next.js.
- Build reusable front-end components and libraries following modern best practices.
- Implement Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Static Site Generation (SSG) using Next.js.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into clean, functional code.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Integrate APIs and backend services to support front-end functionality.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience developing front-end applications using React.js.
- Strong hands-on experience with Next.js, including routing and SSR/SSG.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern ES6+ syntax.
- Experience with state management solutions such as Redux, Zustand, or Context API.
- Experience consuming RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Familiarity with Git version control and modern CI/CD workflows.
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG), performance optimization, and responsive design.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using TypeScript in a production environment.
- Familiarity with headless CMS platforms such as Contentful or Sanity.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks including Jest and React Testing Library.
- Experience with CSS-in-JS solutions such as styled-components or Tailwind CSS.
- Exposure to cloud deployment platforms such as Vercel or Netlify.
- Understanding of SEO best practices in modern front-end development.
Compensation: $125,000/yr - $155,000/yr
