Our client, a global leader in building technologies and manufacturing solutions, is seeking a Materials Engineer to join their team. As a Materials Engineer, you will be part of the Global Materials Laboratory supporting cross-functional engineering and product development teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear technical communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Materials Engineer
Location: Milwaukee, WI (On site)
Pay Range: $33 – $51/hr
- Prepare materials samples using laboratory equipment
- Conduct materials testing and analyze material properties
- Perform metallographic preparation and analysis
- Write formal technical laboratory reports
- Support development of efficient, reliable, and cost-effective products
- 1–3 years of experience as a Materials Engineer or similar role
- Hands-on experience in an industrial laboratory environment
- Metallographic sample preparation and analysis experience
- Experience operating materials laboratory equipment
- Strong technical writing skills
- US citizen or Green Card holder required
