The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Officer plays a key role in supporting the bank’s financial performance, strategic planning, and decision-making processes. This position is responsible for analyzing financial and operating data, monitoring performance against budgets and forecasts, and supporting short-term and long-term financial planning activities. The FP&A Officer partners with executive leadership and department managers to translate financial information into actionable insights.

Analyze bank-wide and departmental financial and operating results, including trends, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Monitor actual performance against budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans; identify drivers of variance and emerging risks or opportunities and perform periodic reviews with department leaders.

Support profitability, expense, and performance analysis by product, line of business, branch, or other relevant dimensions.

Lead the annual budgeting process, including coordination with department leaders to gather assumptions, projections, and supporting documentation.

Prepare rolling forecasts, scenario analyses, and long-range financial models to support short-term and long-term planning.

Consolidate operating and financial projections into cohesive financial plans aligned with the bank’s strategic objectives.

Gather, validate, organize, and document financial and operational data from multiple systems and sources.

Prepare clear, accurate, and timely financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management, executive leadership, committees, and the Board as needed.

Translate complex financial information into actionable insights and recommendations for non-financial audiences.

Partner with business line leaders to support financial decision-making, new initiatives, pricing considerations, and investment decisions.

Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives, business cases, and ad hoc projects.

Maintain documentation of financial models, assumptions, and methodologies to ensure consistency, transparency, and auditability.

Identify opportunities to improve financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytical processes.

Support data integrity, internal controls, and consistency across financial reports and models.

Assist with system enhancements, reporting automation, and process standardization initiatives.
