The Big Picture
The Associate Chief of Staff operates as a strategic operator and thought partner to the Founder & Chairman. This role helps translate vision into action by driving structure, follow-through, and execution across priority initiatives.
This role is designed for someone who enjoys being close to strategy and execution, is comfortable navigating evolving priorities, and brings a steady, thoughtful approach to supporting a visionary leader. You’ll introduce structure where it adds value, without creating unnecessary formality or friction.
You act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic counsel and support while enabling the Chairman and the broader team to operate at their highest level.
Location: This role will work out of the office in Sandy Springs, GA with site visits to properties and portfolio companies as needed.
What this looks like day to day:
Strategic Planning and Execution
- Partner with the Chairman to shape strategic priorities and convert them into actionable plans
- Provide analytical insight and informed perspective on decisions, risks, and opportunities
- Build lightweight frameworks that bring visibility and alignment across the team
- Support the development of firmwide planning cycles and key business reviews
- Identify opportunities for operational improvement and help implement scalable processes
Project and Initiative Leadership
- Lead high-impact projects that span strategic, financial, and operational domains
- Coordinate execution across multiple teams and ensure progress is tracked and communicated
- Manage priorities with an approach that balances agility and accountability
- Establish simple, effective systems to keep projects moving without unnecessary complexity
Executive Support and Leverage
- Ensure the Chairman is prepared for key decisions, meetings, and commitments
- Build briefing materials, talking points, and follow-up summaries
- Track action items and maintain visibility on progress to keep momentum high
- Surface insights, tradeoffs, and options to support effective decision-making that keep the organization advancing
Cross-Portfolio and Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary connector across teams and partners, ensuring smooth communication and strong collaboration
- Draft clear, professional internal and external communications that support key initiatives, decisions, and executive messaging
- Provide clear visibility into priorities, decisions, and expectations so stakeholders stay aligned and informed
- Build and maintain trusted relationships across the BroadPeak ecosystem to support execution and momentum
- Bring clarity and steadiness to discussions, helping keep initiatives on track as priorities evolve
What you bring:
- 3-5 years of experience in business operations, strategy, consulting, finance or project based, preferably supporting senior leaders
- Experience thriving in a lean, fast-moving environment
- Proven ability to translate high-level ideas into clear operational plans
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound business judgment
- Ideal background: small to mid-sized company, growth-stage, entrepreneurial environment, or operator-focused role
- Bachelor’s degree required, Executive MBA a bonus
