The HEAT Group is seeking to hire a Content Strategy Intern who supports the Content Strategy team by helping analyze content performance, identify creative patterns and trends, and translate findings into clear, actionable insights that improve how content is planned, optimized, and measured across platforms. This internship is not focused on content ideation or production. Instead, the intern will learn how a sports organization evaluates content performance, builds repeatable frameworks, and connects content strategy to business priorities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The following are examples of the various functions required. The job requirements are not limited to the items on this list.
- Support Content Strategy Coordinator weekly/monthly reporting by gathering performance learnings across platforms and organizing results into clear “what happened / so what / now what” takeaways.
- Identify common trends and creative patterns among top-performing content (hooks, formats, timing, CTAs, talent usage, storytelling structures).
- Assist in evaluating content tied to ticketing and retail campaigns, tracking recurring patterns that drive action and engagement.
- Compile examples of strong-performing, revenue-related content and summarize what can be repeated, refined, or tested next.
- Assist Content Strategy Coordinator with data inputs and tagging consistency to ensure recaps and reporting are accurate and easy to interpret.
- Explore and document practical ways to use AI to improve workflow efficiency
- Partner closely with the Content Strategy Coordinator to complete analysis tasks and maintain organized deliverables.
