G Mason Group is looking for an Account Manager to support and grow our retail business across key accounts. This is a great opportunity for someone their sales or account management career who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and excited to learn how licensed consumer products move from concept to shelf.
This role will own new and existing accounts (for example petsmart, kohls, walmart) while also owning day-to-day execution for fostering new accounts for the company, for partnering closely with our sales, product development, operations, and licensing teams.
This role will report to the VP of Sales.
This in an in office role, based in New York City.
What you’ll do:
- Support assigned retail accounts with day-to-day account management and communication
- Own timelines and calendars for accounts to ensure key milestones and deadlines are met
- Enter and manage projects in PLM, keeping data accurate and up to date
- Assist with order management including pricing, assortments, item setup, and PO tracking
- Coordinate internally across teams to keep everyone aligned on account needs and timing
- Help prepare materials for buyers and support ongoing relationship building
- Track action items, follow-ups, and next steps to keep accounts moving forward
- Support sales leadership with reporting, updates, and general account administration
What we’re looking for:
- 1–3 years of experience in sales support, account management, or a related role
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift quickly as needs change
- Clear communicator who’s comfortable working with both buyers and internal teams
- Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn
- Experience with licensed products and/or pet products is a plus, but not required
- Familiarity with PLM systems, Excel, and basic order management is a plus
