About the Role:
The Associate Manager, Marketing & Activation is responsible for the ideation and creation of integrated marketing proposals for VinePair. This individual has strong storytelling and creative skills, a firm understanding of integrated marketing in the media landscape, the ability to connect creative ideas with strategic brand goals, and sharp communication/collaboration skills. This individual will also work on executing and bringing these ideas to fruition – working with clients to ensure the programs are completed with quality and performance in-mind – and assist with events. Role is in-office in NYC 4 days/week.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ideate & create a high volume of proposals and RFP responses that highlight VinePair’s value proposition in the F&B media marketplace
- Collaborate closely with sales team to understand client needs and goals, lead creative brainstorms to develop strategic marketing solutions that achieve advertisers’ KPIs and span custom content, video, social, audio, experiential, and more
- Manage the pre-sale process from brainstorm to kickoff call; collaborate daily with internal teams (activations, editorial, design, social, etc)
- Create and manage budgets for all proposals
- Lead the execution of brand partner programs from launch to completion, including daily communication with clients and external agencies.
- Manage delivery/pacing of brand partner programs, and make recommendations for optimizations to ensure delivery and client satisfaction.
- Create wrap/performance-reports for campaigns.
- Write social copy for sponsored social posts
Applicant Requirements:
- 1-2 years in a marketing or communications role
- Alcohol industry knowledge a plus
- Storyteller with creative writing and grammatical skills
- Powerpoint experience a must
- Excellent client management and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Self starter and team player
- Experience in fast-paced environment
- Design skills (photoshop, indesign, canva), a plus
Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000
